4.6 Jobs Select Jobs from the Payroll menu, or type in the keyboard
command equivalent, <cmd-J>, to call up the Jobs window. The purpose of the Job dialog is to record payroll information associated
with each position in the company. The Jobs window must be open in order to add a new job. Select New
from the File menu, or type in the keyboard command equivalent,
<cmd-N>, to call up the New Job dialog window.

into the appropriate fields and then click 'OK' to save the paycode to the
New Job window. The fields will clear and you can enter new paycode information
until all of the paycodes have been attached to the job. Click 'OK' or
'Cancel' to exit. The Jobs window must be open in order to edit an existing job. Hold down
the <Option> key and double-click on the information line of the
job you wish to edit to call up the Edit Job dialog window.

changes. To delete a Job, click on the 'Delete' button. You will be prompted
to confirm that you really want to erase the job. Click 'Delete' to go ahead,
or 'Cancel' if you change your mind. To edit a paycode, click on its info
line. This will call up the Assign Paycode dialog. Type in the desired
changes or click on the 'Delete' button to detach the paycode from the job. |
