6.4 Payment Register

Select Payment Register from the Report menu to call up the Payment Register Parameters dialog window.

Fill out the dialog as follows:

a) From date, To date: Type in the date range that contains the payments that you wish to review.

b) From Paymt No, To Paymt No: If you would rather organize the register by payment number than by date, click on the radio button to the left of these fields and type in the lowest payment number and the highest payment number for the transactions that you would like to review.

c) Bank Transfers: If you would like to see the bank transfer payments for the range selected, toggle this option on.

d) Returned Cheques: If you would like to see the cheque payments wherein the cheques have already been returned, toggle this option on.

e) Unreturned Cheques: If you would like to see the cheque payments wherein the cheques have not yet been returned, toggle this option on.

Once the dialog has been filled out to your satisfaction, click on the button marked 'OK' to call up the Payment Register window, or on the 'Cancel' button to quit.

The window is organized by information line- one line for each transaction. To review a transaction more closely, double-click on its information line in the Payment Register window. This will call up a Transaction dialog window.

The window will give a breakdown of the paycodes that were included in the payment, and the amount for each paycode. To close the Transaction dialog, click on either the 'OK' button or the 'Cancel' button.
