6.5 Payroll Register

Select Payroll Register from the Report menu, or type in the keyboard command equivalent <cmd-R> to call up the Payroll Register Parameters dialog.

Fill out the dialog as follows:

a) Omit Employees Not Paid This Period- toggle on if you do not want to review information for unpaid employees.

b) By Cost Centre- toggle on if you want to organize the employees by cost centre.

c) All CCs- if you want to see payroll information for all cost centres, click on this radio button.

d) Only CC- if you only want to see information for one cost centre, click on this radio button and type in the CC number in the adjacent field.

Once the dialog is filled out to your satisfaction, click 'OK' to call up the Payroll Register window, or 'Cancel' to quit.

Each cell in the window contains payroll information. The top cells contain information for employees, while the bottom cell contains a compilation of data for all employees.

To exit the Payroll Register window, click on the small box in the upper left corner of the window, or select Close from the File menu. Alternately, type in the keyboard command equivalent, <cmd-W>.
