For years this painting hung in Clement Greenberg's living room, where I saw it many times. Amidst high class company it stood out. I think it one of the masterpieces of modern painting. I suspect that it's now, with the remainder of the Greenberg collection, in the Portland Art Museum. Has it been exhibited? Will it be exhibited?
