Some few immortals are lucky enough to own a piece of land that might be considered holy ground. Duncan Macleod, for instance, occasionally rows out to a small island that was sacred to the local native population. More points in this background means that the site is larger or more secure.

е A small room, such as a family shrine.
ее A larger, open area such as an old church graveyard or native burial ground (a few hundred square feet).
еее A more substantial area such as a small abadoned convent, ritual area, or public shrine.
ееее A larger area (perhaps secluded) with plenty of room to live in, such as Macleod's island. It may encompass several hundred square yards.
еееее A very large and obviously holy area, with excellent defenses (an old monastery, for example)
