His mother was an Infernalist and his father was a relativly powerful demon. Unfortunately for Suffering, his father was also an extremly ugly demon, and like father...like son. Suffering is currently over 300 years old, and while he ages slightly slower than a normal person would, he still ages, he relies on his ability to steal the life force of others to revitalize his youth. He also happens to enjoy stealing away the lives of others, as well as inflicting torment and woe upon anyone and everyone that he can. He has run afoul of the team called Razor's Edge recently, and they managed to defeat him. He has not forgotten this, and is still nursing a vicious grudge against those so called 'heroes'. She wanted more sensation, more power, more of everything. While she managed to repress these urges for a time, eventually she gave into them, and became easy prey for the Nephandi. They seduced her to their cause in short order, and she has been unwaveringly loyal and devoted to the Nephandi cause since then. Jennifer met Suffering after his defeat at the hands of Razor's Edge, when she saw the horribly disfigured creature, she led him to safety, and helped him recover. While she doesn't have any feelings for the demonic mutant, she occasionaly flirts with him, in order to tempt him to inflict even more depraved acts of cruelty to try and win her favor. She makes her money by running a very high profile and exclusive brothel located in Columbus, Ohio, and her clients are often very influential people. She uses the brothel as a way to corrupt people by getting them to ingage in acts of debasment and debachery, and makes sure that every kink is catered too, as long as none of her employees is harmed. She has already convinced several promising young mages in the Ohio area to join the cause of the Nephandi, and with her not inconsiderable charms she is sure to tempt many more. |
